We usually find the people to speak to at a venue are the Marketing, Sales or Advertising Managers/Directors, General Manager or Board Directors/VP's, with experiences to closing CxO personnel and owners of venues, seeing our product and pushing a purchase through and even recommending it to other venues.
Experience of selling into hotel chains or groups would also be useful and experience working in a meeting/events capacity will give an added advantage, although we consider this a separate and longer process than direct to the venue, but obviously could yield much bigger rewards multiple times over.
