What kind of agent is suited to this opportunity?
Previous experience working with B2B consumables would be advantageous, but not essential; as would be previous experience in technical presales (especially with new products and early stage businesses).
Candidates with expertise, experience and networks in target industries; foods, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, beer, wines, dairy, confectioners, dealing with additives/hydrocolloids/key ingredients with B2B would also be at strength.
You should be proactive with learning and understanding technical information, as well as be able to communicate the same to non technical staff in a way that is easy and understandable to them.
Flexible analytical and client satisfaction oriented person who is patient, persuasive and confident.
