The sales agent's key customers are retailers, supermarkets, department stores and the like.
What kind of agent is suited to this opportunity?
This person needs to have the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and from varied backgrounds, have experience in B2B selling, have proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and have knowledge of pricing structure and strategy.
They also need certain people skills such as demonstrate their ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, develop strong rapport with key clients, able to identifies new opportunities and turn them into revenue, and understand competitor offering and keeping abreast of market changes.
They will need to be able speak in a friendly way to customers and potential customers, listening to their needs and helping communicate options for them.mThey will need to speak to customers about a product's different features, and answer any questions they might have. Persistence: Not every customer is going to be a sale. Being able to bounce back if they lose a sale will be key for this job.
Communication is key and will need to report back to head office in New Zealand.
