Summary
Earn 15% on specialist higher-education video projects plus 10% on repeat work within 12 months, with around 2,000 leads, including approximately 400-500 warmer prospects, to help you start selling.
You’ll target universities and higher education organisations across the UK (and Europe), opening conversations with marketing and communications teams that need compelling video content. You can work h10’s extensive lead pool while also leveraging your existing relationships.
Your focus is appointment setting and relationship building rather than becoming a video-production expert. Once you uncover an opportunity, h10 can take over and lead conversations if preferred, answer technical questions, scope the project, advise on pricing and help develop the proposal.
Typical individual productions are worth £4,000–£15,000. At 15%, a £10,000 initial project generates £1,500 commission, while a £15,000 project generates £2,250.
You’ll also earn 10% on subsequent projects commissioned within 12 months of the client’s first project. With clients commissioning multiple projects potentially spending £20,000–£80,000 across a year, h10’s established pattern of repeat university relationships gives you an opportunity to keep earning after the first successful introduction.
What kind of agent is suited to this opportunity?
We’re looking for someone personable, proactive and down-to-earth who enjoys opening doors and developing relationships with clients.
Experience or contacts within higher education would be particularly helpful, or experience selling creative, video or marketing services, but industry experience isn’t a requirement. More important is your ability to have credible conversations, understand what a prospective client needs and work collaboratively with our team to develop the opportunity.
You’ll suit us particularly well if you prefer a consultative, relationship-led approach to sales rather than a hard-sell environment.
