Zindi is a data science competition platform with African roots, but global reach. We host an online community of over 20,000 registered data scientists using machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to solve some of the world’s most pressing business and social challenges.
We provide organizations the opportunity to crowd-source the best tailored machine learning solution to their problems. Whether testing the data science waters for the first time or trying to crack a persistent business problem with data, organizations come to Zindi to find the solutions and talent they need at an affordable cost.

Our target markets are:
Any region. We currently serve clients in the US, Europe, and Africa. We want to deepen our presence in these markets plus others.
Any industry that has a need for data-driven solutions (so, yes, any industry!).
Any type of organization. Large corporate companies, start-ups, NGOs, government agencies
What kind of agent is suited to this opportunity?
We're looking for someone who can work independently. We also value our relationships and our reputation in the market, so we would need a salesperson who would also take the time to curate positive respectful relationships with potential clients.
Our ideal candidate would have some technical or data background, or at least an understanding of the challenges that organizations typically face with data would be helpful.
We can provide some leads, but we are most interested in you helping us open new markets in specific industries and regions. You should be able to leverage your networks and contacts with technical decision-makers. You should also have strategies to generate new leads.
We are open to:
Full-Cycle Agents
- Referral Agents: We are open to referrals to pre-qualified leads. We do not have an extensive database of leads.
- Appointment Setter: We are open to someone helping us secure meetings with leads.
Closers: We have lists of contacts that we have not had the time to pursue as well as leads that have been cold for the last year but could be reignited with the appropriate approach. However, our database of leads is not extensive. We would still be looking for the sales person to help generate new leads.
