The information we sell is bespoke to the party we provide it to. Our typical client base would include government and non-government organisations of any kind.
What kind of agent is suited to this opportunity?
Ideal sales agents are those in their mid-career, enthusiastic, confident, well versed in both their native and English languages in addition to being people driven i.e. who see every new day as an enjoyable opportunity to meet new people. Needless to say that honesty and integrity are given requirements.
The sales agent shall be comfortable selling an intangible product, in our case monitored content and statistical analysis. He/She is expected to approach closing the deal from a perspective different than when selling a tangible product where features and functionality traits are immediately demonstrated.
It is always good to ask for a meeting with a C-level executive however where this turns out to be difficult, the general manager or middle managers could be a good alternative. Of course the size and nature of the target organization shape the chances of meeting with a particular executive.
