We’ve interviewed Richard Madu from NSL to give freelance sales agents in the IT/Telecoms industry a good insight into their company and services.

Hi Richard, where did the inspiration for Network Strategy come from?

The inspiration behind our company was developed whilst working for an organisation in 2011 within the network and telecommunications industry and as a MD decided to form a strategic network organisation within the IT industry which has a strategic element to all technical and business processes.

Tell us a little about your expertise in the IT and telecommunications arena

Operating with the IT and telecommunications industry for over 10 years at different levels from infrastructure engineering, team management and at board level, my expertise ensures the correct processes are in place to provide the correct governance by ensuring our solution and service delivery is at a high acceptable standard.

Can you tell us about some of the work you have carried out to date?

We are a partner with multiple large organisation who seek for our assistance on the basis they require specific specialist skill sets to assist with a high level solution delivery. Our most recent project which we had brought to a close involved the redesign of our end clients data center infrastructure, including telephony based unified communications components to drive cost reduction down and ensure there is an ROI on the investment made to their systems.

Also included in the project which was completed involved defining a business and technical process in order to identify key areas where there are gaps therefore defining a service level agreement with the IT service desk team ensured faults and issues are investigated in a timely manner.

What’s your greatest client success story?

Our greatest success story has been the development stage we have reached since 2011 as we still strive to be the best in our industry although we are a small organisation. We believe at NSL success is reviewed in different areas therefore we measure our success on the basis of growth and attitude over the past five years.

What made you consider wanting to work with independent sales agents?

Due to budget constraints we looked at recruiting independent sales consultants to assist with driving our sales process and obtaining new clients to come on board with NSL. Also the benefits of bringing on a sales consultant on board allows us to utilise every idea which will be dynamic as most agents will have worked at various organisations at different levels including company size.

Therefore we believe the method of utilising an independent sales consultant allows us to be dynamic in line with our business model, use our collaboration tools we have in place to conduct regular meetings and training that is required.

Why would sales agents have an edge selling your products?

The commission which we have to offer is at a high substantial level, as we understand how complex it is to sell IT products and solutions. We looked at getting strong bold agents on board who can drive our service, solutions and products we have to offer to the market place.

Also including is the ability for customers to receive residual income. Adding to the statement made we also offer 40 qualified leads per month which agents can utilise as the leads have been verified and confirmed as being warm leads.

What makes your service unique, innovative and sets you apart from the competition?

Our service is not just IT, we take it one level up and understand the business needs, what we have established over the years is businesses have seeked for other IT companies to assist with their infrastructure deployment but not really taken on board what the business requirements consist of. By looking at the detail of the business requirements sets us to have a very broad over view what the technical requirements needs to be.

We are also unique by our service delivery model approach once project completion has taken place.

What are you plans for the future of Network Strategy?

Our plans and strategy for the future is to provide hosted data centre infrastructure and cloud services for business including cyber security solutions for the various sectors.

What are your best selling services and why?

Our best-selling service is the consulting services we have to offer to the market place as this has been our foot in the door with organisations which we have operated with in the past.

Consulting allows us to demonstrate the value we have to bring to organisations where there is a need for complex solutions which does not have a clear answer as to how to move forward.

Have you received any recognition or awards for your products?

Yes – We have received a thank you award in 2016 from one of our repeating business customers for the excellent service which was provided for a network transformation project which took place.

Please describe the typical sales cycle and process to sales agents.

We have a sales process based on the pricing structure for our solutions we have to offer, once agents do come on board a power point presentation shall be provided including all the marketing documentation.
