Can you tell us about Rio and the service you provide to your clients?
At Rio we empower organizations by providing content and communication solutions that are SAFE - Scalable, Affordable, Flexible and Easy. We create solutions that cater to a variety of industries - from Education to Publishing, Travel to Hospitality, Automobile to Heavy Industry, Banking and Finance and so on.
Across varied industries, there is one common thread - Learning. You could categorize our services/solutions into three broad areas – Content Solutions, Adaptive Solutions and Technology Solutions.
We create customized turnkey solutions for our corporate clients globally and have an extremely strong client portfolio which includes publishers like Oxford, Cambridge, Pearson etc.
Our average deal values tend to be between $50000 - $100000,for which we’re offering industry leading commissions of 20% + residuals to our independent sales partners.

Where did the inspiration for Rio Learning come from?
The directors of Rio have been in the publishing business as professionals, for over a decade. They had been wanting to start something of their own in the learning space with specific focus on content and technology solutions across a multitude of industries.
The problem with content creation, whether for in-house training materials, School and higher Education or customer facing Marketing purposes has always been about quality. There is an ever growing number of content creators out there, however those companies and individuals tend to focus more on low cost over quality. That’s where the directors saw a gap in the market and an opportunity to serve the most demanding clients who need the materials our expert team can provide.
As a result we now work with some of the top companies in the world and are widely known as the best content researchers and creators in the industry.
Can you tell us a little about your expertise in the content/learning space?
By far our biggest differentiator is our ability to customize our services to suit any content/learning needs required by our clients. You won’t find us offering any standardized solution sets as our solutions are tailored around the learning objectives of our clients. We serve clients across a multitude of industry sectors such as Education to Publishing, Travel to Hospitality, Automobile to Heavy Industry, Banking and Finance. We create content that’s used by our corporate clients for in-house training purposes, books and educational materials for schools and Universities, Medical research and publication and customer facing marketing materials both on and offline. What made you consider wanting to work with independent sales agents?
We’re exceptionally good at winning new business which for the time being predominantly comes from word-of-mouth and existing client referrals however, we’re now looking to partner with freelance sales reps who can bring us new business and open the doors to new markets globally by prospecting on our behalf and potentially introducing us to their existing network of contacts.
Why would sales agents have an edge selling your services?
Sales agents have an edge selling our services due to the strength of our client portfolio and experience in the content industry. Our mantra is quality content, not cheap content. While there is a place in the market for cheap content producers, we are in a completely different ball park. We know our target market and we certainly stand out in that space.
What industries do you currently serve and plan to expand into?
The beautiful thing about content is that every single company needs it. They also generally need incredibly high quality content which is our speciality. We currently cater to clients across a variety of industries - from Education to Publishing, Travel to Hospitality, Automobile to Heavy Industry, Banking and Finance where we produce content that covers anything from in-house training, university level education or even medical journals. It doesn’t matter which industry you cover or want to cover, we can deliver!
How do you currently bring in new business or win contracts?
Up until now most of our business has come from word of mouth recommendation, client referrals and our own marketing efforts. We’re now looking to work with independent sales reps who can actively go out and prospect for business or introduce us to companies within their networks.
